“Be careful about what you wish for; it just may come true”
I’m coming to the end of my Master’s Degree. I’m sure ready for it! It hasn’t been easy managing all my responsibilities to the best of my abilities when classes on average take up at least 20 hours a week.
So when I got a week off for Spring Break, I thought I wouldn’t know what to do with my free time. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened. Being in the middle of buying a new house and moving I had more stressful moments during my “break” than I normally do grinding through my regular 60 hour work weeks.
That’s because although I’m usually on a tight schedule I still have a lot of control over what I do and when I do it. That wasn’t the case when moving last week. As much as we planned it out, it never went as we planned it. By the end of the week, I was begging to start school back up.
It’s so ironic that when you get what you ask for, it’s never as it seems.
